FAQ

Why is grass seed important for my lawn?

Grass seed can fill patchy dead areas in your lawn. If you don’t have any, it can help you achieve a full, plush yard. It may also eliminate the look of weeds and bugs. Our high-quality grass seed is one of our secrets for a luscious lawn.

How do I know which grass seed is best for my lawn?

It couldn’t be easier to choose the right grass seed! Simply check the light on your lawn and decide how frequently you’d like to use it. While all our grass seeds are ideal for New Zealand weather conditions, they differentiate themselves based on the amount of sunlight exposure they can withstand.

How many times do I need to seed?

As long as you do so correctly, you’ll only need to seed your property once. Your lawn will require varied levels of watering, depending on the time of year you seed. If you invest in our Lawns Club plan, you can also ensure your lawn will be well-fed all year round.

Can I mix different seeds?

We do not recommend mixing different grass seeds together. This is because every Lawns Club seed comes with its own sun and water demands that will ultimately impact the quality of your lawn.

How often do I need to feed my new lawn?

Once you lay down your grass seed, you’ll only need to feed your lawn on a seasonal basis. Sign up to Lawns Club seasonal plan to receive the right feed at the right time.
